Kindergarten: Making Friends that Last a Lifetime Quilt
They will only be this little once, so why not capture this moment for a lifetime? Our little Kinders hands were traced onto squares of fabric then fused onto Kono cloth. A raw edge machine appliqued the hands into the pattern you see. Over time, the very edge of their hand will fray, just a bit (but then, we know that no matter how perfect they begin their day, they end a bit frayed!). Surrounded by a medallion border, it will be lovely in anyone's home. A legend and class photo are on the back, so you can see which hand belongs to your Kinder. A storage bag is also included.

Sixth Grade: Photographic Mosaic on Stretched Canvas
The Sixth Grade has created this unique masterpiece. Using 1,500 photos, each replicated 3-4 times throughout this mosaic of smaller photographs some collected from families, some from students posing at school, and others from the seven years the students have been at St. Francis of Assisi School. Truly, this is an historical piece of "Mosiac Art" waiting to be cherished.

Seventh Grade: Rings of Spirit
A contemporary 30x40 canvas painting using a natural color palate in contrast with a modern geometric design. The Seventh Grade students created this piece by pressing interlocking circles. Each student's name is etched within their selected circle. The title of this piece was originated and chosen by the class.

Eighth Grade: "Saying Goodbye is Hard to Do…" Quilt
This heirloom wall quilt features individual photographs of our 35 students from the Graduating Class of 2014. The additional group photographs will take you on their journey from Kindergarten to present day at St. Francis. All photographs have been artistically antiqued to blend with the reproduction fabrics from the 1800's used in the quilt.
